POSTURAL ASSESSMENT

A fun day for a complex subject. You will never look at another person in the same way again!

It is all about differences, what we see and what does it mean, how does it influence the way we work. Start your path on a more effective approach for change with our one-day postural assessment course.

In this workshop we discuss the theories and physiology behind postural deterioration. From this understanding we can relate the changes in movement purity to the muscle chains that provide stability whilst producing force. This postural day lays the foundation for understanding static posture outcomes using both conventional and hands on skills to gain a picture of your clients behaviour, it is about making sense of what you see and feel.  We use a variety of assessment tools to help you visual and feel imbalances, but most importantly bringing your findings into your treatment, starting you thinking about how to approach your rehabilitation plan.

If you would like to take it a ‘step’ further in the development of your advanced assessment skills, please join us on our Biomechanics and Biotensegrity day. Using our key movement pattern assessments we can identify and understand how the body compensates for the weakness that inevitably leads to dysfunction and postural changes. These key assessments can then form the foundation of a corrective strategy and effective soft tissue rehabilitation.

These workshops are a must for all industry professionals that are interested in treating postural deterioration.
