After graduating from drama school with a degree in Lighting Design, I developed a diverse and varied career path.

Over the following ten years, I toured internationally, working across a wide range of productions from opera to the highly physical musical Chicago. It was during this time that my fascination with the human body grew, sparking a strong desire to help people through hands-on therapy.

A brief interlude followed, during which I pursued another passion as a dive master at a scuba diving centre in the most landlocked county in the UK. I then spent time working in commercial construction before returning to my growing interest in physical therapy.

Sports massage therapy ultimately became my true calling. After several years practising as a Level 3 Sports Massage Therapist and running my own clinic, I decided to advance my qualifications further. The arrival of Covid provided unexpected time for study, leading me to discover NLSSM.

Inspired by the family environment coupled with the dedication and expertise of Susan, Cassandra, and their mascot Dexter, I graduated from NLSSM in 2022. I began my teaching journey, marking assignment papers, in 2023, and joined the teaching team in 2025.
