Description
Helping you move better, recover well and build a stronger body
My journey into massage therapy began through my own love of movement. When I joined the Army in 2005, I fell in love with running. The discipline of military training helped me regain my confidence, improve my fitness and even quit smoking — but as my training increased, so did the injuries.
This sparked a curiosity that has followed me ever since:
- Why do injuries happen?
- Why do some problems keep returning? and
- How can we build a body that is better prepared for the demands we place upon it?
I qualified as a Personal Trainer in 2013, followed by Yoga Teacher training in 2016, which deepened my interest in the relationship between movement, breath, body awareness and the mind. My own mindfulness practice and experience teaching mindfulness have since strengthened this approach, helping me bring greater awareness of the mind-body connection, stress, breathing and how we experience our bodies into my work.
Wanting to understand injury and rehabilitation further led me to the North London School of Sports Massage (NLSSM), where I completed my Level 5 Sports & Remedial Soft Tissue Therapy qualification in 2024. During my training, I was fortunate to provide post-event massage at the London Marathon and RideLondon, as well as massage for staff at University College Hospital London.
My approach
Today, I bring these experiences together. Rather than seeing massage, movement, strength and mindfulness as separate practices, I use them as different tools within a personalised journey from recovery to strength.
I look beyond the area that feels painful or tight and consider your movement, mobility, stability, strength, body awareness, lifestyle, training demands and personal goals.
From there, I create an individual plan that may combine:
- Sports and Remedial massage
- Mindful movement
- Mobility
- Corrective exercise
- Progressive strength training
I see rehabilitation as a progression:
Awareness → Restore → Move → Stabilise → Strengthen → Integrate
Where we begin depends on where you are.
My aim isn’t to keep you dependent on treatment. It is to help you understand your body, build its foundations and develop the strength and confidence to do the things that matter to you.
Movement is medicine — but the right movement, at the right stage, matters.
I relocated back to my birth country – Taiwan, in 2025 to spend more time with my family, and I operate out of my home clinic in Taipei. I offer my services in both Mandarin and English.
