Although Sports Massage suggests by name to be focused on those who participate in sport, deep tissue massage is for 'ordinary people'. It benefits all of us in many positive ways, physically and psychologically.
This introductory weekend is for both those who wish to go onto the professional Sports & Remedial Massage Diploma at NLSSM, as well as those who wish to develop hands-on skills to massage friends and family.
It provides an excellent hands-on opportunity to experience the basic principles of sports massage.
It is also recommended for those who have a massage background and would like to develop and/or improve their technique.
Enjoy this "hands-on" weekend that is packed with ideas.

For those who are considering a career in Sports & Remedial Massage, the introduction weekend is a good starting point to find out if this is the direction you would like to take without committing too much time or money.
The course is also the foundational requirement for students considering the Sport & Remedial Massage Diploma and is accepted by all schools registered with the Institute of Sport & Remedial Massage.
