We are both fully qualified level 5 Sports & Remedial Massage Therapists and Lynne also specialises in pre and post natal massage therapy. We both have a keen interest in working with muscle and the connective tissues around the body and closely follow the latest treatments in myofascial release - helping the body to re-order itself to a healthier postural alignment. We practice outcome based massage where each treatment is tailored to the client: one type of treatment does not fit all people. We work to your specific needs, be it sport, relaxation, fitness maintenance or aiming for peak performance. Weekly clinics are held in a strength & conditioning gym and a climbing wall - see website for details. We also work from our base in Glossop and do home visits. |

Having trained in dance to a professional level in my teens, my career for the past 10 years has been within the entertainment industry. Understanding the pressures of professional dance training, growing up an experienced horse rider as well as spending long hours in an office environment are useful tools in understanding and treating bodies from all walks of life. My philosophy irs to take an holistic approach, treating the body and mind as a whole to find the root causes of problems and preventing their reoccurance.

Being a keen runner and gym goer myself, my interest in sports and remedial massage was sparked by my own experiences when training for a marathon. I have always found sports massage to be of great benefit not only to deal with problems, but also to help maintain performance when training. I also have a full time job in an office so I understand how massage can relieve aching shoulders and backs caused by sitting at a desk for long periods. I use a variety of techniques adapted to suit the specific needs of each client. Appointments normally last around an hour.
