There is a great demand for highly qualified sports massage therapists, and with the upcoming Olympic opportunities, the demand is increasing. But we believe sport and remedial massage is not just for the athlete but for everyone who has minor soft tissue concerns, hence, the market is broad.
Some of our graduates go on to work with athletes at various levels within sport, others choose to work in a clinical setting with an alternative health team, but most set up their own private clinics and work as independent sport & remedial massage therapists.
Being your own boss has enormous benefits in that you can be flexible about your working hours and even your location. In addition, you will be working in an area of expertise that interests you and experiencing the huge rewards of seeing your clients improve with your work.

Professional guidance
We offer on-going support and development once you graduate. You will receive weekly email newsletters, which list jobs, events, articles and the latest on internet videos. It also keeps you informed about current events.
Graduates can book on to any of the mentoring sessions that are held on a regular basis or get together to exchange ideas and massages at the school. We encourage all of our graduates to stay in touch, we are only a phone call away should you need advice.
We also have an extensive and varied choice of CPD's in which to inspire and develop your practice further. We listen to what you have to say and at every opportunity make the effort to put on workshops that suit your needs.
Our students enjoy a great level of support and mentoring throughout their training. But that doesn’t end when the course does. All NLSSM graduates can take advantage of our continued support to help them with various aspects of their professional career.
