As well as an opportunity for promoting yourself and increasing your earning power, on-site chairs can be an effective tool for remedial massage treatment. At NLSSM we will teach you how to maximize the use of your chair, deliver a dynamic treatment, and suggest ideas about how to market yourself.

This workshop covers:

• contraindications to treatment
• how to deliver an effective clothed massage
• demonstrations using a wide variety of remedial techniques
• how to apply techniques using safe & correct postural positioning
• ideas for marketing

Small workshop tailored to your needs. Beginners and advanced welcome. This is suitable for those with previous massage experience.

Susan Findlay has worked as a massage therapist for over 15 years - runs her own clinic and has a vast amount of experience working as an on-site-massage therapist. She has developed this short course for experienced or newly graduated therapists who would like to use this method of massage in order to accommodate a variety of situations. The intention of this workshop is to tailor it to your needs, so even if you have never used a chair before or you have an extensive background but want fresh ideas, simply indicate what you would like to get out of the session on the application form.
