This two day introductory sports massage course is suitable for both those who wish to continue onto the professional Sport & Remedial Massage Diploma at North London School of Sports Massage, as well as those who wish to develop hands-on skills to massage friends and family.
It is a practical weekend that provides hands-on opportunity to experience the basic principles of sports massage. Techniques that will be covered include effleurage, petrissage and deep strokes, enabling you to give a top to toe deep tissue massage. Our focus will be to develop your skills to allow you to give a safe and effective sports massage without stressing your hands.
The Introduction Sports Massage weekend is also recommended for those who have a massage background and would like to develop and/or improve their technique.
Enjoy this practical sports massage weekend that is packed with ideas.
